Boo! Can you believe Halloween is right around the corner?!Â
I’ll be honest; I tend to favor fall decor rather than Halloween, specifically, but I do love pulling out some Halloween things the week-of to get me in the spirit. What I love most about this holiday is making a yummy fall meal, turning on my front porch light, and opening the front door for all those adorable trick-or-treaters. I just love seeing all of the kiddos walking around the neighborhood all dressed-up and ready to fill their baskets full of sweet goodies!
This week, I’ve found some super cute ideas that will help make your home happily haunting…. Are you feeling crafty? I’ve included ideas that you can simply purchase with the click of a button, as well as some instructions for those of you that just love a good, crafty project.

I’m loving this adorable wreath! I especially love that it’s rectangular, which gives it a fun, chic twist on the typical round wreath. Get a similar version here, or click on the link above for a tutorial on how to make your own. If you want to switch it up a bit, you could use an artificial pumpkin in place of the raven, or swap out the black and white ribbon for another color combo – maybe incorporate some orange. Such an easy and lovely way to adorn your front door for Halloween!

How cute is this sign? I love it! You could hang this anywhere to add a little Halloween spice to your space. You could even add it to your wreath! It’s super simple to make: just grab some wood letters (you can decide what size you’d like) online, or at your local craft store, spray paint orange (or black would be cute, too) and tie together with jute twine (if you opt for the black letters, orange raffia would be adorable to use to tie your letters together and hang).

Who doesn’t love lanterns? I love them because they are so versatile! And how adorable are they decorated here for Halloween?! To create this adorable look, snag a lantern, or two. Click on the photo credit link above to find where you can get the adorable silhouette patterns to apply to the glass. Grab a candle, and some miniature pumpkins, and fill your lantern(s). Voila!!

Okay. A burlap banner is always a weakness for me. I. Adore. Snag this cutie here. Or, if you want to create it yourself, here’s what you’ll need: pre-cut burlap, letter stencils, black acrylic paint, a paint brush, jute twine, some artificial spiders, and a glue gun. Take the stencil, paint, and brush, and paint the letters on the pre-cut burlap. Once the paint has dried, glue the artificial spiders sporadically on the letters. Next, get the twine, and one by one, take the letters and fold the top (about 1/4- 1/2 inch) over the twine, and glue the tab together until you’ve spelled out the words. Be sure to leave a little extra twine at the ends to tie a little bow to hang your banner. And there you go! Hang it from your mantle, or wherever you have in mind, to add an adorable touch of Halloween.
Happy {almost} Halloween to you!
