I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week! We’re all starting to plan out our grocery lists, get the house ready for our guests, and most importantly, plan out our Thanksgiving Day outfits! Most of Thanksgiving is typically spent in the kitchen and relaxing, so it’s important to be in comfortable, cozy clothes, all while looking chic, of course.
What is more perfect than wearing stretchy faux leather leggings that look fab, yet feel super comfy? Not into the faux leather so much? You could definitely, and easily, add any denim to these looks! Black denim would be my first choice.
When deciding on tops, I thought a flowy, breathable top would be the perfect option. These tops are both lightweight and airy, which is perfect when paired with the tightness of the legging.
I decided to also incorporate some fun trends into my looks.
Faux fur, or a real fur vest – whichever you prefer – is a great piece to have in your closet. You can really dress it up or down. Pair it with denim, a simple tee, and chain necklace for a more casual look, or pair it with a lace dress, cluster statement necklace, and some stellar heels for an exceptional evening look.
Leopard print works as a fab neutral. It adds great texture and pattern to any outfit! You can keep it simple, or you can be bold and daring…. and pair it with plaid!
Plaid is simply a classic. It’s the “gift that keeps on giving.” We see plaid in many shapes and sizes; this particular plaid blazer is beautiful, and would be great going into the holiday season as well.
Layering was key with this look. Whether you are in the kitchen, or wrangling-up the kiddos, you may need to layer down, but be sure to Style Up once a family photo moment arises!
Mamas with the bump…. I didn’t forget you! Just because we have that baby bump, doesn’t mean we have to miss out on a fab look like this….
I found some great leggings for a great price at H&M – I may have to go snag a pair myself! Everything else with this look is the same as the non-preggo looks above, except the tops and shoes. I myself would be more comfortable in a flat, but if you want to rock the heel, then you are a pregnancy unicorn!! The mauve blouse is similar to the non-maternity blouse above – just a little extra fabric. The wine-colored Anthropologie top from above would also totally work if you are early in your pregnancy. The maternity tunic will wear well throughout your pregnancy and afterwards!
Thanksgiving-comfortable never looked so fab, huh? Be that Mom that is rocking it – in and out of the kitchen!
