Today is such a fantastic day!! The SMP Family is expanding (we will share some exciting details about why in early May)!! We could not be more thrilled to announce the newest three members of our SMP Stylist Team!! Now, they might be new to SMP, but these ladies are veterans in the fashion realm, and are packed-full with styling experience and expertise. Please take a moment to get to know each of our talented, new stylists!
Starting from the west coast….
Meet Danielle Konaris from San Francisco, CA:
Home: San Francisco, CA
I began styling after receiving my BA in the Practice of Art from the University of California, Berkeley. With my love for art and fashion, it only made sense that I pursue a career in styling and I’ve loved what I do for over five years now! For me, personal styling is an art form that allows the clothing to make a statement about who the client is. Since my styling experience has included clientele of various backgrounds, I work with the principle that my looks be both functional and affordable. Not every woman will have the opportunity to walk the runways of Paris or Milan, but they should feel as equally fabulous every time they step outside.
I like to think of my style as a melting pot; a little bit of everything with a feminine twist. Each day is an opportunity for me to try something new, and I take advantage of that as often as possible!
Fave Style Icons:
Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba, Zendaya Coleman, Selena Gomez and Rachel Bilson.
A Hermès Birkin handbag and a Porsche Panamera.
I want to be that best friend that every woman needs! The one who will sit for hours with you in a dressing room, searching for that one dress that fits you perfectly. Or the friend who gives you that little push you need to try something outside of your comfort zone. SMP allows me to do just that no matter where the client lives! I’ve been doing this for friends and family for years, and now I get the chance to be a part of something that means so much to women all over the country!
Meet Mallory Sills from Chicago, IL:
Home: Chicago Suburbs
Her personal styling services cover the entire Chicagoland area, including parts of Northwest Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin.
Style Experience + Education:
Mallory is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing & Management. In addition, she’s a certified Image Consultant with the Fashion Institute of Technology. Shortly after graduating from college, she had the opportunity to train and certify with Stacy London from TLC’s “What Not to Wear,” along with leading LA-based Fashion Stylists with the School of Style. Mallory believes that style is a representation of our personalities, and strives to help create an overall style and image that represents each client that shows the world just that.
What I Love Most About My Job:
My clients. I enjoy working with, and getting to know, each of my clients. Personal styling is just that, it’s personal. So I’m able to get to know my clients fairly quickly. Additionally, I love working to create an overall style and image that helps my clients feel more confident.
Fave Style Icons:
Blake Lively, Coco Chanel, Jennifer Lopez – I could go on, and on!
Owner/Founder of Image Success by Mallory – Image & Wardrobe Consulting since 2011.
My goal is to help as many individuals as I can through styling. I know, first hand, the power of confidence and personal image, and love any opportunity I have to work with more people to help them obtain that for themselves.
Meet Nichole Williamson from Washington, DC:
Home: Washington, DC
Funny enough, I never really worked retail. I decided to run with my creativity after working New York Fashion Week and Seventeen Magazine events. I’m in pursuit of Fashion Styling & Costume Design with the Fashion Design of Technology, and have over 2 ½ years of experience in both fashion and personal styling. I love them both!
It can’t really be defined. One day I’m classic-chic, the next, full on glam, on the weekend I may go edgy and completely rocker, and then two days later, put on ruffles and lace. I guess I’m a bit of a chameleon, but always honing in on what speaks to me.
Fave Style Icons:
Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Nupita Nyong’o, Olivia Palermo, and Solange Knowles.
A house in the south of France, but until then a Chanel 2.55 handbag.
I love the idea of making stylists available to everyone. Additionally, I love the idea of assisting women, learning more about their goals and cultivating relationships while I’m on the go. That’s amazing – especially since I plan on re-locating to LA, NY, or London – SMP can be done anywhere!
We’re so incredibly excited to have you join our team, Danielle, Mallory, and Nichole! Welcome to the SMP family!!!
